Refund policy
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made on diaphano.com belonging to Atelier Diaphano, a brand owned and operated by Ravneet Textiles Private Limited (“Company”). We currently ship and support returns within India only.
SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY & WINDOW
We have a 7 business days return policy on applicable items, which means you have 7 business days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, meaning, unused/unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, and in the original packaging including any dust bags, inserts, barcodes and authenticity cards.
SECTION 2 - WHAT ITEMS ARE RETURNABLE
- Scarf & Twilly — eligible for returns/refunds within 7 business days, provided there are no signs of wear, resizing, scratches, or missing tags/packaging.
- Defective or wrong item received — eligible for replacement or refund after inspection.
Note: Eligibility is subject to our quality inspection upon receipt.
SECTION 3 - WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE
For hygiene, handling, or custom‑production reasons, the following are not returnable unless defective on arrival:
- All Signet Rings listed on the website
- Custom/personalized items (e.g., engraved or made‑to‑order)
- Items showing wear, damage, odors, stains, missing components, or altered from their original condition
SECTION 4 - HOW TO START A RETURN
Email us at customercare@diaphano.com within 7 business days with your order number, item(s), reason, and photos (if defective/damaged). Once your return is accepted, we will have a return pick-up scheduled within 7 business days.
SECTION 5 - DAMAGES & ISSUES ON DELIVERY
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
SECTION 6 - FREE RETURN SHIPPING (INDIA ONLY)
Approved returns initiated within India are shipped at no cost to you. We will coordinate pickup after your return request is approved.
SECTION 7 - REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within a maximum of 14 days, depending on your bank and the method of payment used. Refunds include the product price (inclusive of GST). Original outbound shipping fees, if any, are not applicable as we offer free shipping.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at customercare@diaphano.com.
SECTION 8 - EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
SECTION 9 - CANCELLATIONS & ORDER CHANGES
We begin processing orders promptly; modification or cancellation after placement may not be possible. If you need to cancel or change your order, email customercare@diaphano.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
SECTION 10 - NON‑DELIVERY & RTO (RETURN TO ORIGIN)
If a shipment is undeliverable due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, the order will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we can re-ship once after address confirmation at no additional shipping cost, or we can refund the product price in full.
SECTION 11 - PAYMENTS & COD
We accept payments via Shopify Payments (UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking). Cash on Delivery (COD) is currently not offered. All prices shown are inclusive of applicable GST; approved refunds will reflect GST proportionately.
